WORLESTON MUSIC SCHOOL Community Orchestra

The Community Orchestra is open to all who play an orchestral instrument at any age from about grade 3 standard.

We meet on Fridays at 7 pm at Worleston Village Hall

Strings - violin, viola, cello, bass

Woodwind - flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon

Brass - horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba

Percussion

Andrew Bassey the Music Director of Worleston Music School began the group as a Home Education String Class in 2016 encouraging parents to learn alongside their children, The orchestra has performed in student recitals and has helped to raise £100’s for St Oswalds Church, St Oswald's School in Worleston, Calverley Primary School and St David’s Church in Wettenhall. We took up residence at Leighton Hospital Chapel in January 2019 after performing in the 2018 Carol Service at Leighton last December. With your help we can continue to raise funds for community and hospital charities.
